+ 80 percent of women who are seeking treatment for substance use disorders report a lifetime history of sexual and/or physical assault.
The question is:
Are we prepared with scientific-based knowledge and proper tools to asses and treat these dual-diagnosis patients in our treatment centers?

In a previous research, we discovered that the lack of digital access to treatment centers in The Caribbean represents one more barrier to getting help for women with SUD
